A 120-acre wildfire in Cumberland County is 60% contained Saturday with no structures at risk, according to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.
The fire in Downe Township is expected to be fully contained at 140 acres, officials said.
No structures have been evacuated or at risk, but Railroad Avenue between between Dividing Creek Road and Ackley Avenue remains closed Saturday, officials said.
Ground crews have been working to contain the wildfire that started Thursday night with the help of fire engines and bulldozers, authorities said.
The fire was 50% contained Friday with the next update from the forest fire service expected at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, officials said.
Several other wildfires have continued burning around the state as New Jersey suffers through a historic dry spell.
